In her recent article published on Philstar.com, veteran columnist Lolit Solis expressed her sentiments about those who consistently question her reputation.
The 70-year old showbiz writer admitted being hurt every time she feels like her name is questioned by other people.
Recently, Lolit attended the Thanksgiving Party of Alden Richards for the press, according to her she won the grand prize of the raffle. However, she shared that at first, Alden did not believe that she won and he passed the raffle stab to his team for double-checking.
“Ipinabasa pa ni Alden kina Angel Cruz, Lendl Fabella, at Gigi Lara ang raffle stub na hawak niya. Buti na lang, walang nagprotesta pero feel na feel ko na may nag-isip na may ginawa ako na scam dahil ako nga ang nag-win,” she wrote.
On the other hand, Lolit also revealed that she is always accused of having fake luxury bags by her friends in showbiz.
“Noong niregaluhan ako ni Perry Lansigan ng Prada bag, pinagbintangan na eco bag ang dala ko. Pati si Senator Grace Poe, nag-akala na eco bag ang authentic Prada bag ko nang magkita kami. Yung regalo sa akin na Marc Jacobs bag, napagkamalan ni Mother Lily Monteverde na fake dahil inilapag ko sa sahig,” she shared.
On the latter part of her article, Lolit clarified that she is not totally offended by these scenarios and still thankful that she won the p25, 000 from the ‘Pambansang Bae.’
“Anyway, kiyeme-kiyeme lang na hurt ako. Naiintindihan ko naman na may kasalanan din ako. Saka usually, in a nice way ang kanilang mga biro pero kahit ano pa ang sabihin nila, ako pa rin ang winner ng P25,000 sa party ni Alden at always na makakatanggap ng expensive things mula sa loyal and rich friends ko,” she ended.
