During Eat Bulaga‘s segment, Juan for All All for Juan, Vic Sotto pulled out the contact information of a young woman named Mary Jane who used to be a prostitute.
In a Facebook post, Paollo Sebastian summarized what happened during the said segment. He also wrote that Joey de Leon made another insensitive joke that angered many netizens.
During the interview, the gang which made up of Maine Mendoza, Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola and Paolo Ballesteros learned the story behind Mary Jane. The young woman also currently lives in a ministry. She has also found God and tried to live her life as a Born Again Christian.
Joey asked Mary Jane whether she had a guest from Eat Bulaga. He, then, insinuated that maybe Wally and Jose became her guests. After he said the words below, an uncomfortable silence enveloped the scene.
“May naging guest ka ba na taga-Eat Bulaga?”
When they started asking about her two children, Mary Jane explained that her first-born was a four-year-old little girl. Joey, then, remarked:
“Parehong panganay ‘yun!”
In Paollo’s Facebook post, he wrote:
“Was watching Eat Bulaga’s ‘all for juan, juan for all’. The person na nabunot ni Vic Sotto was a young woman with two kids. She was a former prostitute that was saved and brought to a ministry to become a Born Again Christian. She has been saved for 4 years now and serves the Lord. During the interview, Jose, Wally, Paolo, and Maine found out about her history and started asking respectful questions when suddenly Joey De Leon asked if anyone from Eat Bulaga had been her customer in the past. After a while, he clarified and pertained to Jose and Wally. Joey De Leon, Jose, and Wally laughed at the ‘joke’ while Maine and the young woman just stared at them. Joey De leon, you are garbage, the woman has changed since then and you’re making a joke out of it. Fuck you.”
