  • ‘Asia’s Songbird’ Regine Velasquez reaffirmed that she is a loyal Kapuso.
  • The 47-year old singer-actress is happy to take part in creative decisions of her shows.

In an interview of PEP.ph with ‘Asia’s Songbird’ Regine Velasquez, she reaffirmed that she is loyal Kapuso.

The 47-year old actress-singer jokingly replied that there’s no reason for her to jump ship given her big talent fee in the Kapuso network.

Regine was also asked about her reaction to her colleagues encouraging her to switch networks.

“Ewan ko sa kanila! Kapag nakikita nila ako, palagi nila akong sinasabihan, ‘O, ikaw na lang…'” she shared.

“Ganun? Huwag na tayong nanghahatak. Okay naman ako dito,” she added.

Regine pointed out how GMA Network has taken good care of her through the years.

“When I got pregnant I was given time. Hindi naman ako minadali. So, the projects that I get are the ones that I like. I’m being given also the chance to get involved sa creative part of every show that I do. I’m just happy that they make me part of it.

Regine is grateful for her home network for listening to her about on creative decisions of her shows.

“As an artist, when you’re here for a long time, siyempre meron ka na ring iniisip na gawin. I’m happy na they make me part of that. Nadidinig din yung voice ko. I’m very grateful,” she said.

Meanwhile, the award-winning singer is set to make her hosting comeback via the singing competition “The Clash.”
