- The Clash singing competition to air on the 3rd quarter of 2018
- Auditions for aspiring superstars are happening nationwide starting last February 2018
- Mark Bautista is one of the judges of the singing competition
It’s been a while since GMA 7 produced a singing competition, but the recent trailer of The Clash poses another chance for talented singers in the Philippines to showcase their talent, and the competition is going to be BIG!
The Clash singing competition will launch in 3rd Quarter this 2018 that is open to all Filipinos of any gender, professional or amateur, and ages 16 years old and above.
The show will be hosted by Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.
Auditions for the said competition is already on-going nationwide starting February 17, 2018.
Mark Bautista was also announced as one of the judges of the show after GMA 7 management’s deliberate request on the actor. This made his fans very happy and excited to see him in the singing competition.
Mark, after his controversial announcement to the public that he is bisexual, did not expect that both fans and the network will still welcome him wholeheartedly. He still appeared in both ABS-CBN and GMA shows after the big reveal. In fact, he is one of Sarah Geronimo’s It’s Me Concert special guests. He will be leaving the Philippines for two months, April and May, to accompany Sarah on her US Tour.
GMA 7 warmly welcomes Mark as a judge in The Clash, if the busy singer doesn’t have other shows by then. He will be joining the three announced judges Asia’s Nightingale Lani Misalucha, Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas, and Asia’s Romantic Balladeer Christian Bautista.
