Last March 13, the Kapuso supernatural-themed series “Kambal Karibal” won the ratings game with its 10.6% rating based on Nutam PPL Prime.
The said episode is higher than the Kapamilya telefantasya “Bagani” which recorded a 10.3% of ratings.
GMA Network creative write Suzette Doctolero took to Twitter to express her gratitude for the consistently high ratings of the series starring Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix.
“Dalawang malalaking Goliath na ang itinumba. Salamat mga kapuso!” she wrote.
On her next tweets, Suzette explained that despite being a low-cost production, the series was able to cope up against the grand telefantasya ‘Bagani” which stars Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil.
“Pagbigyan nyo na kami. Masaya lang. Na Kahit mas maliit na production, kahit mas mura, kahit mas di kilala ang mga batang artista, ayun nangagat, tapos ngayon, lumaban. Di namin akalain. Di namin inasahan. Proud lang kassi malaki ang binangga namin. Puso! Salamat!” she added.
While some of them sent their congratulatory message, some of them questioned the authenticity of the said ratings. As a response, Suzette challenged a netizen to sue her if the ratings are not true.
A netizen wrote, “Hahaha grabe galing mo magpatawa.”
“Idemanda ako kungdi totoo,” Suzette confidently responded.
Meanwhile, GMA Network already aired the teaser for the nearing finale of “Kambal Karibal.”
