The first official trailer for Mikhail Red’s “EERIE”, the upcoming period horror movie starring Charo Santos-Concio and Bea Alonzo, has finally been released online. “Eerie” is the 4th feature film of award-winning director Mikhail Red and also marks his first under Star Cinema. It will feature Charo Santos-Concio as the headmistress of an all-girls school, while Bea Alonzo plays the school’s guidance counselor. The film is a mystery horror flick set in an exclusive all-girls Catholic school in the late 1990s, and follows the investigation after one of their students is found murdered.
The film marks Charo Santos’ third foray into the genre after the 1976 Mike De Leon supernatural pic “Itim” (The Rites of May) and the 1981 psychological thriller, “Kisapmata”. On the other hand, this will be Bea Alonzo’s first. The film also stars Jake Cuenca and Maxene Magalona. The film is a partnership between Aurora Media, Singaporean Entertainment and ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema.
