- Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson are no longer a couple
- Bea stated that this is just temporary, but she is technically single
- She shared her thoughts about the pressure of getting married at a certain age
Bea Alonzo and boyfriend Gerald Anderson are technically single for now according to Bea.
Bea, along with her leading men in the latest Star Cinema production “Kasal,” were asked the question about getting married. Nobody expected that the actress will utter something unexpected.
Alonzo told ABS-CB News, “Hindi sa ngayon,” when asked if they are still a couple.
She did not say the reason why they decided to cool off. The last questionable thing about their relationship that we can remember is the “My Perfect You” issue when she unfollowed both Gerald and Pia Wurtzbach on Instagram.
However, the couple appeared together in public several days after the issue as if nothing happened. Netizens also accused Star Cinema of using the issue to promote the movie. But, it was also clarified by Star Cinema that they played no part in the controversy between the artists.
She was further asked if she considers herself single. She answered, “Technically,” but added, “but of course we’re talking, we’re okay.”
Coincidentally, Alonzo guested on an episode of the morning talk show “Magandang Buhay” recently. She was surprised having to receive a handwritten letter from Gerald saying, “I will always be your fan and you will always be my teenage crush. Love, Gerald.”
It is still not sure of this episode of “Magandang Buhay” was taped before or after Bea admitted that they are no longer together.
Bea, in “Magandang Buhay,” said, “In fairness mapadala siya ng bulaklak at ma-note. Thank you, thank sa letter and thank you for always being there.”
Gerald is ready to introduce Bea to his hometown in General Santos. When asked about tying the knot, Bea said, “Ako, siguro, may kanya-kanya tayong timeline, ‘no. I try not to get affected sa pressure na binibigay sa akin ng society. May kanya-kanya tayong journey, e.”
The movie “Kasal” will be available on May 16 starring Bea Alonzo, Paulo Avelino, and Derek Ramsay.
