SAP Christopher “Bong” Go recently posted a Facebook statement regarding Asec. Mocha Uson’s supposed apology to Kris Aquino. In a press conference, Bong had assured that Kris would receive a public apology from Mocha. He also added that Mocha had agreed with him and President Rodrigo Duterte on apologizing towards the Queen of All Media.
However, Mocha posted a strike against Kris instead of an apology.
In an Instagram post, Kris posted what Bong had written on the said statement. Bong wrote that the President himself had asked him to relay a sincere apology towards the youngest child of Ninoy and Cory Aquino.
Bong added that the President stated that people should respect the dead.
“Kanina po, dahil ipinag-utos ni Presidente Duterte sa akin, I relayed a sincere apology to Kris. We apologized because nasaktan siya and we wish to reiterate that sincere apology once again. Sabi nga ng pangulo, “respetuhin dapat natin ang patay.” Iyon po ang pinanggagalingan ng apology namin. Nirerespeto din namin ang opinyon ng mga supporters ng pangulo na nasasaktan din sa patuloy na pagbatikos sa kanya sa kabila ng lahat ng nagawa niya para sa ating bayan.”
Bong pleaded supporters of both camps to not let politics deteriorate the unity. People should not make this issue bigger. He also apologized to people who felt hurt in the said altercation.
Bong ended the statement to not make any personalities involved.
“Pakiusap ko lang po sa supporters ng dalawang panig, politics should not divide us. Ang pinanggalingan naman ng lahat ng ito ay ang pagkumpara kay President Duterte at kay Ninoy Aquino. Pareho po silang well-respected and loved na leaders ng ating bansa. Hindi na po dapat palakihin pa ang isyu. Para sa mga nasaktan, sana po ay tanggapin nila ang apology namin. Para po sa mga supporters, magtulungan nalang po tayo para sa ikabubuti ng bayan. In the end, this is not about any of the personalities involved. This is about us respecting each others’ opinions and emotions. Let’s leave it at that.”
In an Instagram post, Kris wrote that the Liberal Party would probably hate on her. Meanwhile, pro-Duterte supporters will never like her.
The man who doesn’t say sorry commanded his most trusted person to relay a sincere apology towards her.
“Alam kong damned if you do, damned if you don’t ako… but i was brought up to recognize an “olive branch” when it is being offered. Alam ko yung mga natitirang LP will bash me & the DDS will never like me Alam ko rin na sasabihan akong bakit ako nagpapauto. Pero ito ang pananaw ko- the most powerful man, President Duterte affirmed my pain. Kris pointed out that she remains a daughter who would fight for her dead parents’ respect. Although she would receive hateful comments from critics words, she will still fight for the memory of the two people she truly loved.
