In the comments section of the said Instagram post, a netizen asked Sofia not to make any mental illnesses as an excuse.

“I, too, am suffering from anxiety and also depression I am clinically diagnosed since 2013. I am not trying to invalidate how you feel, but please do not use any mental illnesses as an excuse for your bad attitude. You have no idea what it feels like to experience severe anxiety attack.”

Sofia, then, responded that the netizen doesn’t know her as a person and what she had gone through. She also added that the netizen has no right to tell her about her personality.

“Hi, you don’t know me as a person. I don’t think you have the right to tell me that about my personality. I don’t even know you as well. You have no idea also what i have been going through. we have different lives here.”

Anxiety attacks have different forms and survivors don’t always hyperventilate while rocking back and forth. Sometimes, an anxiety attack can be an outburst of rage and complete silence. It can also be dizzy spells, nit-picking, and fast-paced talking among others.
