- Anton Antenocruz doesn’t have any regrets despite losing in Tawag ng Tanghalan.
- He plans to go back to his regular job as a flight attendant.
- He says that Tawag ng Tanghalan was his last attempt to enter showbiz.
Anton Antenorcruz made it to the Top 6 at the Tawag ng Tanghalan grand finals. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it to the Top 3, but he considers himself blessed enough to reach that far.
“Hindi man ako nanalo pero naniniwala naman ako na may plan si God kung kailan niya ibibigay sa akin yung dream ko na makilala, sumikat as a singer,” the rookie singer said.
Anton is currently employed in the Philippine Airlines as a flight attendant. He is thankful to the company for supporting his budding singing career and making him feel that despite the results, the company’s doors are still open for him.
He accepts the fact that it’s not yet his time. He was determined to win, and at the same time, he is humble enough to accept whatever reward God will give him. “Siyempre, gustung-gusto kong manalo pero nung nandon na ako sa top 6 sa Aliw Theater, parang sabi ko, kung ano na lang ibigay ni Lord, okay na ako. Kasi parang yung fact na nakapasok ako sa Top 6, sobrang laking blessing na rin.”
When the Top 3 was announced, Anton took it all in stride. Tawag ng Tanghalan, according to the newbie, was his last attempt to enter showbiz. He once joined a singing competition in GMA-7 and also the X Factor in ABS-CBN last 2012.
Nothing could beat his Tawag ng Tanghalan experience. It qualifies as the journey of a lifetime for this young, determined dreamer.
Anton Antenorcruz’s more immediate plan is to go back to his regular job as a flight attendant but promises to never stop singing.
“Ako po, ngayong tapos na yung grand finals, I think, kahit gaano katagal willing akong maghintay. Kasi hindi mo naman puwedeng madaliin yon, eh. Kung talagang oras mo na, eh, oras mo na talaga.”
