Kapamilya singer Morissette Amon nailed her performance of Little Mix’s ‘Secret Love Song’ during last year’s Asia Song Festival in Busan, South Korea. Morissette’s performance trended on social media and amazed viewers, too.
Fortunately, thanks to YouTube, that video reached the real Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall and she shared Morissette’s video on her Instagram Story.
“Is @itsmorissette real?,” the Little Mix member tagged the Kapamilya singer on her IG Story video.
Jade was also heard on the first video saying “Oh, I love that.”
Morissette immediately reposted the video on her IG Story and on Twitter. Morissette captioned her video with, “DON’T MIND ME, I’M JUST LITERALLY SHOOK AT THE MOMENT. Jade of @LittleMix shared clips of their team watching my cover of #SecretLoveSong at the Asia Song Festival on her IGStories!! even heard Perrie comment too so they all must be watching! OMG, thank you loads for noticing 💖”
Morissette also shared that the British singer also followed her on Instagram.
Morissette joined The Voice of the Philippines singing competition where she reached the semi finals round. Despite her loss in the competition, she was given a break by ABS-CBN and became part of ASAP’s roster of regular performers.
