“Playhouse”, a new Kapamilya series that will bring daily dose of kilig and happiness starring Angelica Panganiban and Zanjoe Marudo, will air every morning at ABS- CBN starting Monday, September 17.
The series will follow the story of Patty (Angelica Panganiban) and Marlon (Zanjoe Marudo)—two college lovers who will eventually get married but their dream of a long lasting marriage will be tested by struggles that will lead to their split. Just when Patty files for an annulment to formally separate with Marlon, something happened that would change their lives forever.
Their friends Emily and Brad will get into an unfortunate accident leaving their child Robin (Justin James Quilantang) behind. Patty and Marlon will be forced to stay together under one roof as they were appointed as the kid’s legal guardians.
The question is: will it be a “love is sweeter the second time around” kind of story?
The series will prove that love deserves a second chance as it revolves around the theme love is a choice—it is a person’s will to choose someone repeatedly, but it may change instantly.
Aside from Angelica and Zanjoe, teen stars Kisses Delavin (Shiela) and Donny Pangilinan (Zeke) will also bring kilig to the viewers as two enemies who will eventually fall for each other.
Also starring in this new morning habit are Kean Cipriano, AC Bonifacio, Ariella Arida, Dexter Doria, Nadia Montenegro, Ingrid Dela Paz, Jomari Angeles, Malou De Guzman, Smokey Manaloto, and Maxene Magalona.
