- Janno Gibbs signs up with Star Music.
- He wished to work with former colleagues from the rival network.
- He will soon release his new single inspired by top love teams JaDine, KathNiel and LizQuen.
Janno Gibbs received a warm welcome as he signed a contract under Star Music. He took a short hiatus from showbiz. He admitted that there were times that he became too complacent about his career.
Shaking things up.
Janno noted that he wanted to do more things in his career.
“I’m at this point in my career na kailangan ko naman to shake things up, you know fresh. Medyo naging comfortable ako lately so I need to shake things up.”
Janno clarified that the contract he signed only includes projects as a musician. He, however, isn’t closing his doors to the possibility of doing television and film projects for ABS-CBN.
“I hope so, na try ko na sa Ang Probinsyano. I guested in ASAP, Showtime, GGV. So far masaya ako, hopefully magtuloy-tuloy.”
Janno hoped to get the chance to work with his friends and former colleagues from the rival network, Ogie Alcasid and Jaya among others.
“Si Ogie kasama ko sa mga guesting, si Jaya I’ve seen her here. I missed them. ‘Pag nagkakausap kami over the phone. Kahit sila nag po-post na we miss working together. More than 10 years kami magkakasama so ayun, iba ang friendship kasi magka-kaibigan kami. Pero ‘yung working together we miss that of course.”
Janno will soon release his first single under Star Music. The song is titled Feeling JKL. This is an ode to the three top love teams in the industry: JaDine (James Reid and Nadine Lustre), KathNiel (Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla) and LizQuen (Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil). He pointed out that ABS-CBN Music President Roxy Liquigan gave him the title of the song.
“Actually kay Roxy galing ‘yung title. ‘Feeling JKL.’ Feeling JaDine, KathNiel, Lizquen. Ako, aside from being a fan of the love teams, the song is about kapag kasama kita, I feel young. Kasi hindi na tayo bata pero kapag kasama kita, feeling ko ako si Daniel, ikaw si Kathryn. Ganun.”
