GMA Network launched My Special Tatay with its international title, The Heart Knows on September 3, Monday. This family-drama stars Ken Chan who already made his versatility known via his previous roles in television series such as Destiny Rose, Meant To Be and The Cure.

During its pilot week, My Special Tatay (The Heart Knows) beat its competition, Precious Hearts Romances: Araw Gabi.

Ken portrays Boyet, a 20-year-old man with mild autism whose simple life suddenly changed when he finds out he has a child.

The actor underwent immersion to have a better understanding of people living with the said medical condition.

Nationwide Urban TV Audience Measurement (NUTAM) recorded the overnight data on September 3 to 7, Monday to Friday.

My Special Tatay (The Heart Knows) won the ratings game against Araw Gabi with 5.7% while the latter fell behind with 5.0%.
