Adrian Alandy gets another lead role on ABS-CBN after 16 years

  • Adrian Alandy finally gets another lead role on ABS-CBN.
  • His last lead project was “Sa Dulo Ng Walang Hanggan” in 2002.
  • Adrian is thankful to ABS-CBN for giving him another chance and will do his best not to disappoint.

After his short appearance on GMA’s “Onanay,” Adrian Alandy is blessed with another project this year in the Kapamilya network.

He will soon star in a lead role in the upcoming ABS-CBN afternoon series “Kadenang Ginto.”

His last lead role project was also with ABS-CBN in 2002 in the series “Sa Dulo Ng Walang Hanggan.”

The actor clarified that the upcoming Kapamilya series was not the reason why he disappeared in “Onanay.” His role in ‘Onanay’ was really sort and by the time it was about to end, his manager Noel Ferrer has already secured ‘Kadenang Ginto’ on ABS-CBN.

As for Adrian, he admitted that he feels a bit startled to handle another lead role after 16 years.

He shared, “Kinakabahan kasi di ba, for the longest time, I mean, sa mga movies nakakapag-lead ako pero sa mga series.

Alam naman natin kung gaano kalaki ang ano ng ABS-CBN. May pressure nang kaunti.”

He also revealed that he was supposedly part of the “Araw Gabi” series but it did not push through. He’s just happy that ABS-CBN gave him another chance.

“Kaya nung nag-offer ulit for this show, tinanggap ko na right away. Hindi ko naman alam na lead role noong una.

“Medyo surprised at alam mo ‘yun, medyo may added pressure sa sarili mo dahil you need to do good, you need to perform really well.”

Adrian Alandy will be working with Kapamilya’s stars like Beauty Gonzales, Dimples Romana, Albert Martinez, Andrea Brillantes, and Francine Diaz.
