“DITO KASI AKO NAG-GROW.” Jackie Rice on being a loyal Kapuso

Jackie Rice remained a loyal Kapuso and a part of the longest-running gag show, Bubble Gang. The show also introduced Jackie, Sam Pinto, Gwen Zamora and Ellen Adarna as the Bubblets in 2010.

In an interview with GMANetwork.com, Jackie expressed how it has been an honor for her to be a part of the show.

Rice revealed that she has been a fan of the show since she was young.

“Isa sa dahilan kung bakit ako nag-artista is to be part of Bubble Gang. Bata pa lang ako, ’95 nung nag-start sila nanood na ako, sobrang fan ako ng Bubble Gang. Tapos maging part ako nito isang malaking [karangalan].”

Although she has other projects, Jackie still prioritizes taping in Bubble Gang.

“Siyempre, bibigyan ko priority siya like naging regular na ako, ayoko na maging dahilan para mawala dito. Ang hirap para makapasok ka, e, so ang daming fans ng Bubble Gang isa ako doon.”

A loyal Kapuso.

Actors and actresses have been transferring from GMA Network to ABS-CBN. Jackie explained that she grew in GMA Network and would remain a Kapuso.

“Happy naman ako for them, honestly, kasi lahat naman tayo nagta-trabaho para kumita. Kung nandun ‘yung may offer sa kanila, kung doon tingin nila mago-grow sila. “

Dito kasi ako nag-grow sa GMA, bahay ko na ito. Yung mga katrabaho ko dito hindi na katrabaho pamilya ko na sila. Kung lilipat ako panibago na naman, para akong nag-audition na naman ako sa StarStruck for sure.”

Jackie added that GMA Network doesn’t neglect her and her career.



“Dito sure na ako ‘yung Bubble Gang ko ang tagal na kasi part ako, isa ‘yun sa kaka-proud ko sa mga achievements ko sa GMA.”
