Beauty Gonzalez sat down with the press during the media launch of ABS-CBN’s newest afternoon series, Kadenang Ginto. This series proved to be the sign that she will not leave ABS-CBN anytime soon.
Beauty never left.
Beauty appeared in GMA Network‘s Celebrity Bluff and was introduced as a new Kapuso. She addressed this and noted she never left ABS-CBN.
“I was never gone, I was always here… I was just being a good neighbor… Nangangapit-bahay lang…”
Beauty repeated her statement why she was seen on GMA Network.
“I was just being a good neighbor… It’s nice to be a nice neighbor, right? Rather than everyone hating you… Diba? ‘Pag may village, mas maganda na mabait ka na neighbor kesa sa babatuhin ‘yung bahay mo.”

Kadenang Ginto also stars Dimples Romana, Adrian Alandy and the busiest actor in the Philippine entertainment industry, Albert Martinez. She described her character, Romina who is very different from her real self.
“Siyempre, lumalaban na siya ngayon. ‘Yun yung kailangan kong matutunan kasi sa totoong buhay… ‘Pag may gulo diyan, ako ang unang tatakbo… Sa totoo lang, ayoko ng gulo. I don’t want to go down [that level]. It’s better to be quiet than make mistakes.”
When asked about the most challenging part of her role, Beauty said:
“Lahat challenging. Crying is a challenge. Lalo na kapag masaya ka sa buhay mo. Mahirap umiyak lalo na if you’re happy in your own life. But having a child, nadagdagan ‘yung depth ko as a person.”
In the trailer, Beauty and Dimples’ characters will engage in physical fight, slapping each other on the cheek.
“We talked about it, siyempre. Lahat ng mga sampalan namin, totohanan ‘yun. Ayoko naman na hindi totoo… Sakit talaga! Pero mas gusto kong totohanan… ‘di kasi ako marunong magsinungaling. So, kapag daya, nahuhuli talaga. So, sabi ko kay Dimples, ‘Okay lang.’ Para mas maramdaman ko ‘yung pain. and as a character, mas nakakatulong. As a viewer, mas gusto mong [makita na] ‘Ah, totoo ‘to.’”

Gonzalez noted that she never snapped back at any basher who tried to get to her.
“They cannot touch me. So, hanggang doon lang sila… Natutuwa nga ako ‘pag may nababasa ako… Yeah, effort!”
