If he was the one accused of being gay, Daryl Ong wouldn’t waste his time to make people believe he isn’t. Although he didn’t mention any names, this may be his response to Darren Espanto‘s social media war against JK Labajo who allegedly tweeted him with “gayness at its finest.”
Tech Jungle: VIVO V17 PRO Review
Daryl on being accused as gay.
Ong explained reasons why he thinks the word “gay” and being gay is not something to feel insulted by. He noted that being gay doesn’t equal to being a criminal. He, then, pointed out that being gay doesn’t make someone less of a person and artist.
“If I was the one accused of being gay, (maliban nalang kung may kasamang threat or binastos ako at pamilya ko) hindi siguro ako mag aaksaya ng panahon mag react lalo na kung alam ko naman na hindi totoo, at kung nagkataon mang totoo, eh ano naman? Ano ngayon? Bat mo naman itatago? Pag bakla ka ba criminal ka? Does it make you less of a person? less of an artist? Pag bakla ka ba nabawasan ba galing at kakayahan mo sa kung saan mang larangan ka nakikipag sapalaran? Nabawasan ba talino mo?
Just as being straight, does it make you more righteous? Less “sinful”? Ganun ba yon?
“THE TRUTH SHALL SET YOU FREE”
Magpaka totoo ka.”
Just an open thought.
Daryl re-posted this on Twitter and stressed how he only wanted to share his thoughts.
“Sorry screenshot ko nalang. Di kasya pag dito ko t-type guys haha. Di naman ako nambabasag ng trip. Saloobin ko lang po yan.”
Daryl insisted that he only wanted to share that people should be true to themselves.
“Hey guys, it was just an open thought. No hate here. Ang point ko is pagiging totoo sa sarili NO MATTER WHAT. Yun lang. wala akong inaakusahan. I just shared my perspective AYON SA NASAKSIHAN KO SA LOOB for the past 4 years.”
Darren Espanto and JK Labajo were recently in a Twitter war. This started when Darren shared a tweet from allegedly JK’s account. The tweet allegedly insinuated that Darren was gay who later felt insulted and called out JK.
