Regine Velasquez-Alcasid singled out a basher and slammed them for cyber-bullying. She, then, started a plan to take a legal action against said bashers.
The real Chesca Azurin, however, spoke up and said she is not the basher and someone used her name to express hate toward the Songbird.
Regine exposes basher.
The basher, using someone else’s name, had countless of hate comments on Regine’s Instagram posts.
“yes focus kami sa mas bata na hindi balyena ang katawan and hindi basag na lata ang boses. buti nalang walang acid reflux si golden [Cañedo].”
“isa ka pang boba! nakita mo ba kung pinafollow ko sya? iniistalk ko lang ang account! at isa pa hindi ko kilala ang name ng reginian na sinasabi mo?!? wag kang assumera! no wonder kung bakit super reyna ang trato nyo kay regine syemore galing GMA yan pag galing GMA dekalibre. aangal ka pa?!?! tyaniin ko eyeballs mo.”

Regine goes on a rant.
Regine took to her own Twitter account to express her dismay and hurt from all the words they sent.
“Again WORDS ARE VERY POWERFUL. hindi porket hindi ako nagsasalita eh ok lang na bastusin nyo ko. Hindi kayo and iniwan ko!!!!!!😡😡😡”
“Can someone enlighten me about cyber crime please. I think it’s about time we put these kind of people to jail. You think it’s only words that you don’t really hurt us well you’re wrong. #NoToCyberBullying”
“Dapat hindi na ito pinapalampas hindi natututu eh sobra na. Can you imagine if this is our kids!!!! Oh my gosh!!!! Kung ako ang tandang ko naaapektuhan pano pa yung mga bata. Please someone help me with this.”
Regine explained that she isn’t stooping down to the basher’s level. She noted that she just wanted to teach them a lesson.
“Just want to make this clear hindi ako pumapatol, I want to teach these people a lesson. #NoToCyberBullying”
When a Netizen asked everyone to report the Instagram account of Regine’s bully, she noted that she wanted the person to be traced.
“No I want that person found. I’m so angry 😡 😡😡😡”
She’s not the basher!
The real Chesca Azurin clarified that she’s not the basher and they used her name to post said things.
“I just want to clear this. I am shocked when a lot of people messaged me. HINDI PO AKO YAN. @chescazurin lang po ang username ko sa lahat ng social media. Ate @reginevalcasid hindi po ako yan. 😥😥😥”

Regine got wind of this and followed Chesca to make her feel a little better from the hate comments thrown at her.
Regine plans to take legal action.
“Yes I’m complaining. Should I write a letter? Or should I talk to the NBI kasi madami yan sila eh actually may mas malala pa dyan. I’m tired of letting it go. It’s sickening na”
Regine thanks fans.
Regine admitted that she felt emotional but didn’t want to let people hurt her.
