Entertainment journalist for ABS-CBN News, MJ Felipe, interviewed father-and-daughter Ogie and Leila Alcasid during the ABS-CBN Ball which was held on September 29, Saturday. MJ asked Ogie if his wife was attending the ABS-CBN Ball.

Ogie answered why Regine didn’t walk the red carpet with him. He pointed to his daughter and said:
“Well, she’s who I am with tonight…”
Ogie remained tight-lipped on Regine’s network transfer rumors. He noted that she’s still with GMA Network. Although he expressed his excitement for his wife whatever transpires.
“She’s still… officially still with GMA… Kung ano man ‘yung naririnig niyo, all I can say is that I’m very very excited whatever happens. As I said, lagi kong sinasabi, it’s all positive… positive vibes… Exciting times.”

Skipping the red carpet, Regine later hobnobbed with Kapamilya artists and executives. In one photo uploaded by Eric John Salut, Regine was with her husband, ABS-CBN executive Cory Vidanes and Chairman Emeritus Gabby Lopez.
In another photo he uploaded, Regine was with Cory and Deo Endrinal.
In Zsa Zsa Padilla‘s Instagram Story, Regine can be seen sitting in between Jaya and Gary Valenciano.
Behind her, Ogie was speaking with Raymond and Richard Gutierrez.
Regine has yet to release a statement on her much-touted transfer from GMA Network to ABS-CBN.
