GMA Network has finally unveiled its latest Primetime teleserye that premiered yesterday, November 19 – “Cain At Abel.” The highly-anticipated Primetime spectacle that stars Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo, is set on the network’s Telebabad line up replacing “Victor Magtanggol.”

The series is the latest attempt of GMA Network to dethrone ABS-CBN’s highest rating teleserye, “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”

LionhearTV listed down the Top 10 Reasons why the series is a Must-Watch!

10. The Story.

This action-family drama follows two brothers, Daniel and Miguel, who grew up in two very different worlds. Back when they were young, they were separated by fate.

Daniel was taken by his father and was raised comfortably in the city. Miguel, on the other hand, grew up with their mother who later changed his name to Elias. They lived a poor life in a fishing village where they struggled to survive and make ends meet.

A few years later, Daniel and Miguel/Elias are drawn together by their mutual affections: their father who brought them apart, the mother they yearn for, and the woman that they both love.

9. The Action.

As seen in the trailer, the drama features many action scenes that will definitely make your nights more exciting! Dantes and Trillo had to do their own stunts for the show:

Dingdong had to jump from a roof of a house during a chase scene while Dennis had to jump from a bridge in Santa Cruz, Laguna.

8. It is directed by Don Michael Perez, Mark A. Reyes and Toto Natividad.

If you guys can remember, Don Michael Perez is one of GMA Network’s resident directors who gave us “Kambal Karibal,” “Mulawin,” “Mulawin Vs. Ravena” and “Destiny Rose.” Mark A. Reyes is an award-winning director who is behind the hit series “The Half Sisters” and “Encantadia.”

Lastly, Toto Natividad is the mind behind the hit ABS-CBN action drama series “Dugong Buhay” and was formerly one of the directors of “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.”

7. Tatak Suzette Doctolero.

Suzette Doctolero is one of GMA Network’s most creative minds who is responsible for giving us some of the network’s most unforgettable teleseryes. Her works include the hit fantasy series “Encantadia,” “Amaya,” “Indio” and the LGBT-themed drama “My Husband’s Lover.”

6. Powerhouse Cast.

The Primetime series features an amazing cast led by Eddie Gutierrez as Antonio Larrazabal, Ina Feleo as Dolores Larrazabal, Dina Bonnevie as Percilla “Percy” Rodrigo-Larrazabal, Chanda Romero as Belenita “Belen” Castillo, Carlo Gonzales as Ronald, Ronnie Henares as Gener, Boy 2 Quizon as Juancho, Pauline Mendoza as Patricia “Pat” Tolentino, Leandro Baldemor as Darius Tolentino, Shyr Valdez as Tina, Ervic Vijandre as Alex, Renz Fernandez as Louie, Tommy Abuel as William, Bing Pimentel as Linda, Marc Abaya as Ramon, Fabio Ide as Kevin, Euwenn Aleta as Samuel “Sammy” Tolentino Larrazabal, and Vince Vandorpe as Rafael Larrazabal.

5. Solenn Heussaff.

Heussaff joins the all-star cast as Abigail Marcial-Larrazabal, the bold, sophisticated, and adventurous lover of Daniel. She was last seen in GMA Network series “The One That Got Away” and the highly successful “Inday Will Always Love You.”

4. Sanya Lopez.

After playing Lorna in “The Half Sisters,” Sang’gre Danaya (season 1) and Hara Danaya (season 2) in “Encantadia” and the lover of Derrick Monasterio in Regal Films’ erotic romance drama film “Wild And Free,” sought-after Kapuso leading lady Sanya Lopez will now be playing Margaret Tolentino-Larrazabal, the principled, responsible, and inspiring girlfriend of Miguel/Elias.

3. Dennis Trillo.

Before we catch him in Regal Films’ official entry to the 2018 Metro Manila Film Festival “One Great Love” with JC De Vera and Kim Chiu, he will be the bida-kontrabida. He plays Miguel Anthony “Elias” Castillo Larrazabal, the brother of Daniel. He lived a tough life and continues to fight for his survival in a world full of injustice and corruption.

2. Dingdong Dantes.

Everyone’s already excited to see Dingdong Dantes opposite Vice Ganda along with Richard Gutierrez in the MMFF 2018 entry “Fantastica.” But for now, the public are in for a treat via this weeknights as Daniel Anthony Rodrigo Larrazabal in this full-packed action-drama offering. He is the brother of Miguel who was taken by their father and lived a comfortable life in the city.

1.  Dingdong Dantes and Dennis Trillo’s Reunion after 10 Years!

Headlining the action drama series are Kapuso royalties, Primetime King Dingdong Dantes as Daniel and Drama King Dennis Trillo as Miguel/Elias. Both Dantes and Trillo starred in GMA Network’s romance drama series “Endless Love.”  The series was based on the 2000 Korean television series “Autumn in My Heart” also starred Marian Rivera and Nadine Samonte.

How do you think will “Cain At Abel” fare in the ratings war against ABS-CBN teleserye “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano?”
