FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano still dominated the ratings and is still GMA Network‘s biggest headache on primetime timeslot.
With its latest rival Cain at Abel, the long-running Kapamilya action-drama is still unbeatable as it gunned down the Kapuso teledrama.
Latest Victim.
Cain and Abel is the latest “victim” of Cardo Dalisay and the whole FPJAP gang.
GMA Network may still be at a loss for a perfect formula to match the Kapamilya action-drama series as all of those pitted against it were found bloody and gone off-air.
On its pilot episode, Cain and Abel was no match with Cardo‘s appeal as the latter captured more viewers according to the two ratings provider in the country.
AGB Nielsen where GMA network is subscribed, has reported a win for FPJAP against Cain and Abel.
FPJAP earned a NUTAM rating of 15.6%, 4.0% higher than Cain at Abel’s 11.6%.
Same story with Kapamilya-subscribed Kantar Media, where it recorded a significant lead of 22.5% for FPJAP at 40.1% versus 17.6%.
List of shows gunned down by FPJAP.
But before Cain and Abel, there were several Kapuso shows which suffered the same defeat from the “pambansang teleserye”.

With the latest competitor pitted against it, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, it proved even more that it is indeed the “Pambansang Teleserye” (National TV Series).
It will take a fluke or a miracle for GMA Network to come up with a program that will stop FPJAP’s gun-blazing victory.
And when will the public see such? That’s the question and is still uncertain.
