Would the Pinoy super heroine set to fly very soon?
After the exit of director Erik Matti, Kapamilya actress confirmed that the film is undergoing changes with the new film director Jerrold Tarog, the filmmaker behind the successful bio and historical film based on ‘Heneral Luna’.
“We actually have a due date for the movie,” Soberano pointed out.
“I think we’re going to be doing that first, since ‘Darna’ has to be focused on by the new director. He’s taking over now, so there are going to be some changes.
“I’m waiting to meet up with him [Tarog]
“I think [we will meet] sometime this month, so we get a feel of how we are, like how he is, and how I am. I’m really excited!”
When asked about Matti’s exit from the project, the actress said that she is looking forward to work with him if schedules permit.
“I was very thankful, because I don’t think a lot of people would do that. He personally messaged me, just so that he could say goodbye properly to me. I really appreciate that he did that,
“I’m just thankful to have gotten the chance to work with him, and I still want to be able to finish a project with him. Hopefully, in the future, if our schedules permit, and there’s a really a good script that he’s going to be directing, I would wouldn’t mind doing another film with him,”
While waiting for the creative changes, Liza is currently working on a separate project with Enrique Gil, directed by Antoinette Jadaone.
