PNP Chief General Oscar Albayalde has a complaint about FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. According to Albayalde, the show gives viewers a “bad impression” on the police.
Kapuso star Jasmine Curtis-Smith left a comment on said issue.
Jasmine reacted.
The actress noted that former mayor Lito Atienza‘s complained against historical movie, Goyo. Jasmine expressed her dismay on the said issue.
“First was Goyo and a politician. Now it’s a TV series and the PNP. Authorities want tv and film to show “better” things about them……. Hah”
Coco apologized.
Coco Martin stressed that PNP guided and supported the making of the show.
Because of this controversy, Coco apologized as the lead role and creative consultant of the show.
Earlier this year, Atienza demanded Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) to properly evaluate Filipino films and give appropriate tax incentives to ensure its quality.
