A lot of people called Kathryn Bernardo “retokada” and accused her of taking too much skin-whitening products. In an episode of Tonight with Boy Abunda, Kathryn denied the allegations.
She, however, doesn’t think there is nothing wrong if people want to improve their looks.

“Hindi talaga… ‘Nagpa-retoke, ‘nilaklak ang gluta,’ ‘kasi dati, sobrang itim niyan tapos ngayon ang puti?’ – Pwede bang nag-mature lang kaya ganoon?”
