The late Hari ng Komedya Dolphy Quizon’s, grandson joins It’s Showtime’s Tawag Ng Tanghalan on New Year’s Day. He introduced himself as Rowell Quizon and shared his connection with Dolphy with hosts Vice Ganda and Vhong Navarro.
According to Rowell, he is the son of Freddie Quizon, who was once an actor and son of the Hari Ng Komedya and Engracia Domiguez. All in all, Dolphy has a total of 18 children.
The grandson is now living in Tondo, Manila with his own family. Like his grandfather, Rowell also performs on comedy bars and brings smiles to people’s faces. He even made the audience of It’s Showtime by dancing his own version of Vice Ganda’s dance. He also impersonated his grandfather which impressed the fans.
Rowell Quizon said he joined the 3rd Season of Pilipinas Got Talent in 2011 and was one of the semi-finalists. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it to the next round.
And just like PGT Season 3, he also didn’t make it to the final round of It’s Showtime’s Tawag Ng Tanghalan.
