ABS-CBN Ball 2018.

More or less than 400 celebrities, graced the red carpet for the ABS-CBN Ball. It was held on September 29, 2018 which was dedicated to launch an advocacy that will help Filipino children through Bantay Bata Children’s Village.

She is this generation’s greatest pop artists who usually have the most energetic and lively appearance on-stage and onscreen. She, however, is just another ordinary girl with real-life problems. The young singer-actress went to perform on a US Tour in April with four stops, including Las Vegas. She became emotional, expressing her feelings of emptiness as she performed Forever’s Not Enough

Regine Velasquez-Alcasid leaves GMA Network; transfers to ABS-CBN.

After months of rumors about her transfer, the Regine Velasquez-Alcasid finally made it official to be part of ABS-CBN growing family. She officially signed on October 17.

The network gave her a grandiose welcome as she walked on the red carpet and a live coverage on TV broadcast as well as online streaming.

Ellen Adarna and John Lloyd Cruz remain missing-in-action.

They went missing in action after their relationship spread like wildfire. The real-life match became talk of the town. They were first rumored to be dating when they had a vacation in Santa Fe, Cebu.

He was spotted in a mall, buying a stroller for his alleged baby with Ellen. These rumors include getting engaged and expecting a baby. Ellen has been spotted with a baby bump. Neither John Lloyd nor Ellen would confirm anything.

Janine Berdin wins ‘Tawag ng Tanghalan’; trends online.

The Cebuana-bet was named grand winner of Tawag ng Tanghalan’s second season. She took home a Php2-million cash prize, a management contract  and a house and lot among others at the finale at the Aliw Theater in Pasay City.

Janine sang the 1989 hit OPM song, Nosi Ba Lasi, securing her spot in the top three. She later sang Bamboo’s hits, Tatsulok, Hallelujah and Noypi to bag the championship.

Janella Salvador accuses Elmo Magalona of physical abuse.

In October, Janella broke her silence and confirmed physical abuse accusations against Elmo. Although she didn’t want anyone to hate Elmo, she wanted to clarify the false assumptions against her and her mother, Jenine Desiderio.

The young actress had an exclusive interview with Philippine Star entertainment columnist Ricky Lo. Janella revealed that the first time Elmo mistreated her was when he had a drink.

After Elmo apologized and claimed he didn’t remember ever hurting her, Janella forgave him and gave him a chance. This, then, continued on and on. The issue and rumors started when Julia Barretto posted a photo of Janella with visible bruises by her right elbow.

The OPM legend passed away on October 30, 2018 due to a congestive heart failure at the age of 65. He had two major heart operations in the last three years. He had an open heart surgery in 2015.

Joshua Garcia emotionally apologizes to Julia Barretto.

In March, Joshua went under hot water after a private message to a mystery girl went public. He seemed to have admitted his wrongdoing in national television during Tonight with Boy Abunda.

This caused a huge fight between him and current onscreen partner and “girlfie.” He went to clear the air and reveal what really happened between him and the said girl.

Kris Aquino suffers an autoimmune disease.

In a lengthy Instagram post, the Queen of All Media announced that she had lost fifteen pounds in one month. She wrote how international celebrities raised awareness for autoimmune disease and chronic pain.

She, then, revealed that she has Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria and listed down what she needs for her daily life to remain physically healthy.
