- A scene from Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko received negative reactions from the netizens
- Surprisingly, a famous writer replied on the tweet
- What was the writer trying to say to the netizens?
GMA Network’s “Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko” received different reactions on social media as it aired the scene of Venus, played by Thea Tolentino, attempting to kill Daniel, played by Matthias Rhoads, using a pillow whilst on ventilation machine.
A lot of netizens reacted on the said scene as they felt that the act didn’t really make sense. Yeah, it’s dramatical and mean, full of emotions but, people nowadays are looking for something realistic and more factual.
Out of disappointment, a netizen posted his sentiments on Twitter.
“Sino na naman ang researcher nito? Sorry ha pero saksakan ng shunga. Kahit pa ilang oras mo idagan yang unan, makakahinga pa rin siya kasi nga secured ang airways niya nyang intubation na nakakabit sa mech vent. Bwahahahaha si bitter na naman ba ang writer nito?”

Surprisingly, a response from someone, who’s not even mentioned on the said post, popped up and said,
“Writer ba ang nagdirek niyan o nag execute? Kita mo nga, nag point out ka ng mali pero mali din sinisisi mo. Hehehe.”

Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko was created by Marlon Miguel. Written by Richard “Dode” Cruz, Marlon Miguel, and Renato Custodio, and is directed by Mark Sicat dela Cruz.
We were all puzzled as to what made her say those statements; defending the writers and yet ‘stir-fry’ the director at the same time?
Is she trying to tell something or is she trying to point out something that is unknown to most of us?
