- ‘Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko’ continuously gets higher ratings versus ‘It’s Showtime’
- Kris Bernal expresses her gratitude to everyone for the high ratings
- Audience ratings come from recent Nielsen TV ratings
The Kapuso network drama series ‘Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko,’ that is starred by Kris Bernal, Thea Tolentino, and Rayver Cruz, has again topped the television ratings against its rival show ‘It’s Showtime’ of the ABS-CBN network in a recent Nielsen TV rating.
Last January 30, the series got an average audience rating of 6.1 percent versus ‘Its Showtime’ who only got 5.4 percent. And just recently, as of February 02, they again managed to surpass their rival show with an average total of 7.6 percent people audience while the other show only gained 6.1 percent.
This comes to manifest that the drama series has a good competition over its rival show. And a good platform for the Kapuso network to gain more viewers.
Together with this great news, Kris Bernal, one of the cast members expressively showed her gratitude to everyone who continuously support their drama series.
The series, previously on its first episode last October 22, already got high audience views, giving it a higher rating against the other network. Kris Bernal thanks the netizens for their warm welcome, posting in Instagram, “Winner ang first episode ng Asawa Ko, Karibal Ko. Nakakakilig! Maraming salamat po! My heart is full! I hope and pray we continue to win and soar high! Malaman na kaya ni Rachel ang totoong identity ni Nathan? Sabay-sabay po ulit natin panoorin mamaya ang AKKK, at 2:30PM! #AKKKSecretIdentity (P.S. Ang ganda ganda mo, @thejasonabalos).”
The story is about Rachel who meets Nathan, a gay man who later marries her due to his family’s pressure. Unhappy and trapped, Nathan plots his fake death and later undergoes a sexual reassignment and face surgery in another country.
Years later, Rachel meets Gavin and falls for him. Gavin has a wife, Venus whom Rachel will eventually find out to be her former husband.
