One of ‘Eat Bulaga’s hosts,’ Joey de Leon, was criticized by some netizens, after posting on his Instagram account a photo of him with co-host Paolo Ballesteros.
In the picture, Paolo was dressed up impersonating America’s Songbird Supreme Mariah Carey. where his only intention was to advertise his co-star’s performance in Eat Bulaga’s ‘BackClash’ together with the 10 finalists.
“With the singer with the IT..log! Maruya Carey-Carey! See her perform today in Eat Bulaga with the 10 Backlash Finalists!,” Joey captioned.

Kapuso network’s ‘Eat Bulaga,’ being the longest-running noontime variety show in Philippine television, have various segments. And one of this is ‘BakClash’ under the segment ‘Juan for All, All for Juan.’
It is a singing contest for trans women, and there are two vying contestants. The first part is the contestants singing their pieces. The second part is a stand-up comedy skit for both contestants, where they will also be given several singing challenges. The third part is the question and answer portion. The winner will become a BakClasher.
Paolo having a remarkable talent in transforming his face into other famous faces has done imitating various local and international artists. Imitating the faces of several Hollywood stars like Gal Gadot and Emma Watson, as well as the famous Pinay celebrity faces of Solenn Heussaff and Anne Curtis.
And just recently, February 02, his impersonation was Mariah Carey, and with his incredible skills got all the angles that the singer has including her big chest.
Many netizens find the post hilarious, having Joey positioning his hand around Paolo’s chest while posing, and at the same time stunned by how Paolo finished his transformation.
But some netizens were negatively affected by the photo when Joey was resting his hand on Paolo’s chest.
