These roles are far more different from the teenybopper characters that they usually play. Perhaps, roles that are considered too mature or too risky for them earlier in their careers.

Kiko Estrada
The returning Kapamilya actor finally sheds his wholesome image as he stars in the upcoming erotic romance drama ‘My Stepmother’s Lover.’ In the film by Adolf alix Jr., he is a young man who falls in love and begins an affair with Sunshine Cruz, who plays Martin Del Rosario’s stepmother.
Jerome Ponce
Young Kapamilya actor Jerome Ponce is set to star in the upcoming romance flick from Regal Films entitled ‘Ang Henerasyong Sumuko Sa Love’ under the direction of Jason Paul Laxamana. He is set to play one of the hardest roles ever yet as he plays a gay man.
In the teaser of the said film, he can be seen doing a sensual dance ala-striptease in front of his lover.
Jerome was last seen in the Regal Films’ 2018 barkada movie, ‘Walwal.’
Anjo Damiles

If you are wondering who will be playing Jerome Ponce’s lover in the upcoming romance film ‘Ang Henerasyong Sumuko Sa Love’, look no further. Kapamilya hunk Anjo Andamiles will be playing Jerome’s boyfriend in this daring romance film from Regal Films, set to be released this 2019.
He previously played Neil Coleta’s lover in the Cinema One Originals 2018 entry, ‘Pang-MMK.’

Myrtle Sarossa also stars in ‘Ang Henerasyong Sumuko Sa Love’ where we will see her being paired with Albie Casino. And based on the teaser of the film, the two of them will have lots of steamy moments to watch out for.

Albie Casino has been making our afternoons hotter as he stars in the ABS-CBN drama ‘Los Bastardos’. But aside from this, he is also set to star in the romance film ‘Ang Henerasyong Sumuko Sa Love’ where he is paired with Myrtle Sarossa.
Kit Thompson
Ex-Pinoy Big Brother housemate Kit Thompson is set to make this year’s Cinemalaya hotter than ever as he stars in the upcoming romance drama film ‘Belle Douleur’ opposite Mylene Dizon.
The film marks his return to the Cinemalaya Film Festival circuit after previously starring in the Gino M. Santos’ 2014 entry ‘#Y.’ ‘Belle Douleur’ is a May-December romance affair, with Kit playing the lover of Mylene Dizon, and is directed by Joji Alonso.
McCoy De Leon
Gone are the days when Mccoy De Leon was just your cute and innocent boy-next-door as he plays the role of Brix in the iWant web series ‘Project Feb. 14.’ The series , which stars Jane Oineza and JC Santos, is under the direction of Jason Paul Laxamana.
In the series, McCoy’s character seems to be planning something dark and evil, together with Jane’s character. He also shares some steamy moments with the young actress, which is a first for him.
Jane Oineza
After starring in the hit ABS-CBN afternoon dramas ‘Araw Gabi’ and ‘Los Bastardos,’ the Kapamilya young actress is set to star in the psycho-sexual thriller web series entitled ‘Project Feb. 14,’ opposite Mccoy De Leon and JC Santos.
In the series, she plays Annie, Brix’s girlfriend who ends up having an affair with Cody (played by JC Santos). This will be her most mature role to date as her character is revealed to have some intimate scenes with the two boys.
Enrique Gil
Enrique Gil plays Raf, the former lover of Liza Soberano’s character in the Antoinette Jadaone’s latest romance flick, ‘Alone Together.’ The film is the Valentine’s day offering of Star Cinema’s indie label Black Sheep which gave us last year’s blockbuster hit, ‘Exes Baggage’ (directed by Jadaone’s husband, Dan Villegas).
Based on the trailers, Enrique and Liza are ex-lovers who are reunited year later. Unfortunately, he looks like he’s already in a relationship with Jasmine Curtis’ character in the film.
But this did not stop his character from revealing the truth to Liza (her character, of course) that he is still in love with her. Are they hinting an affair is about to happen between them?
Liza Soberano
Liza Soberano is ready to show her more mature side as she plays Christine, Raf’s (Enriquel Gil) college sweetheart from UP. In the film, the two of them are reunited years after their break-up, with each one having their own lives and relationships.
In the trailer, it looks like she is in a relationship with Adrian Alandy’s character. But eventually, Christine and Raf are both unable to hide the truth that they still have feelings for each another.
As compared to her past movies before, this will be Liza’s hardest role to date as she plays a grown-up woman who is haunted by feelings for her ex-lover. Will she end giving up her current relationship and choose her feelings for Raf in the film? Find out this Valentine’s as ‘Alone Together’ hit cinemas starting February 13, 2019.
