Starstruck Ultimate Female Survivor Ryza Cenon has gained popularity for her ‘kontrabida’ role in GMA Network’s ‘Ika-6 Na Utos.’ As she transfers to the Kapamilya network, she still carries her signature stamp as she portrays the character of Jessie de Leon in ‘The General’s Daughter,’ the replacement daughter who’s adopted by the De Leons, after their own daughter had gone missing.
Being one of the cast members, Ryza assured televiewers that ‘The General’s Daughter’ will last long in the primetime lineup, despite speculations that circulated online involving co-star Angel Locsin walking-out incident during a taping session of the show.
In Allan Diones’ Youtube account, Ryza Cenon was positive that the drama series will have a long onscreen presence as she is sure that the cast and production staff have no problems nor grudges with each other.
She also implied that the incident was not really a big deal, and all is well with everyone on the set.
“Yes. Hindi! Wala naman, e. Hindi naman po big deal. Wala naman po.”
Ryza as well admitted that she is clueless about Angel Locsin’s controversial walkout on the set some weeks back. According to her, at that time it happened, she was sleeping in the dressing room, so she has no idea what’s going on outside during the taping.
“Ay, wala po ako nun!. Yan yung wala kayong mapapala sa akin. Sorry po, dahil po… swear to God ‘to, ha? Wala po ako dun. Tulog po kasi ako, paggising ko wala na. Andun po ako sa dressing room.”
Ryza also clarified that during that time she did not hear anything, she was not even sure what time it happened, but she was certain that she slept in the afternoon after lunch.
“Wala akong narinig, as in wala po akong alam. Hindi ko rin alam kung anong oras nangyari yun. Hapon po, after lunch.”
She added that as long as they are shooting, the issues does not need to be brought up anymore.
“Nag-taping na rin naman po. Hindi, hindi ko na tinanong, ayoko ng…”
In a previous article, Angel already talked with the Kapamilya business unit head Kylie Manalo-Balagtas and already reconciled the incident that happened.
Angel has already clarified that the rumors of her alleged misunderstanding with the directors are not true, based on the tweets that she has posted; where she extended her gratitude to the directors as she responded to a netizen’s admiration.
She replied, “Salamat po! Thanks to our excellent directors and creative team! Super blessed to have Direk Manny Palo & also to Direk Mervin to guide us.”
