Award-winning actor John Lloyd Cruz is making a comeback as endorser of a shawarma brand.

After two years of shunning away from the entertainment spotlight is ready to face the business again.

Cruz, one of the most bankable actors of the Philippine cinema and an effective endorser once again proved that his fans are waiting to welcome him back.

Recently, photos and videos of the matinee idol have been circulating that made his fans wonder f he is coming out from his break.

On Tuesday, April 29, Turks finally revealed in a one-minute and 17 seconds video of Cruz showing the actor walking through different destinations, which somehow depicts Cruz’s sojourn.

The video is simple, yet there’s drama in the way it was created. In a very subtle shot, he stopped and took a bite of a Turks pita donner.

In a teaser video posted on the Facebook page of shawarma business Turks a few weeks ago, it showed a shot of Cruz’s back. It lasted only a few seconds but it already has 3.2 million views, and has been shared almost 800, with a large number of comments.

Cruz took an indefinite leave of absence from showbiz in October 2017 to attend to “personal matters”.
