During the heat of rumors about the birth of John Lloyd Cruz and Ellen Adarna’s first child last year, John Lloyd Cruz proudly uploaded a photo of him with his ‘Home Sweetie Home’ co-star Miles Ocampo. This shows that the young actress has remained in touch with the A-list actor.
During the presscon for her upcoming horror movie ‘Maledicto’ alongside Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Tom Rodriguez, Ocampo was asked to comment regarding Cruz’s comeback. She was questioned after the said sitcom has been reformatted since Piolo Pascual will be taking a leave to study abroad.
Is John Lloyd Cruz really returning to showbiz?
“[May mga nagco-comment nga na ganun eh], na nag-give way si Piolo. Sabi ko hindi naman kasi wala pa naman kaming nababalitaan na ganun.”
The actress clearly stated that she remains in touch with John Lloyd and that’s his fans have nothing to worry about.
“Nakakausap ko naman si Kuya Lloydie pero hindi kasi ako nagtatanong ng anything related sa trabaho kasi nahihiya ako. Pero nagkakamustahan kami, okay naman. Masaya naman siya,” she stated.
While Ocampo could not confirm anything about Cruz’s showbiz comeback, the actress teases the media that there will be new characters added to the show.

“Nagre-reformat ‘yung show namin. May mga bagong papasok sa pamilya namin. Sobrang thankful lang talaga ako na tuloy pa rin ‘yung show namin,” she said.
