- The ratings were twice what rival show ‘Sahaya’ got
ABS-CBN’s action-packed drama ‘The General’s Daughter’ jumped to a record-high viewership last Thursday.
‘The General’s Daughter’ is an action-packed drama that follows the story of Lt. Rhian Bonifacio, played by Angel Locsin, who was taken from her real family, the De Leons, by the scheming Guerreros. The Guerreros train Rhian to become a fighter whom they could later manipulate to kill her own father.
In the May 16 episode “Pagtatapat”, the episode featured Rhian confronting Tiago (the father who raised her) about the truth, that she was raised to be a weapon against her true family.

The show got its highest rating with a nationwide rating of 36.7% which was twice what its rival show ‘Sahaya’ got at 18.1%, in data given by Kantar Media.
