He even shared the good news to his social media account: “Grateful for this opportunity to do what I love. Answered prayer. Thank You, Lord! Big thanks to @dreamscapeph @starmagicphils @FPJsAngProbinsyano,” he wrote.
In an exclusive interview with Push, Geisler shared that Coco Martin offered to help him, if he promises to help himself as well. It can be recalled that the actor was involved in several controversies due to his alcohol problem in the past.
Apparently, Baron has found a new light in life as he tries to do the right for himself. Now, showbiz opened a new window of opportunity for him once again through ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.’
“Coco Martin said, ‘Bro, I will help you but you need to help yourself too. All I ask is for you to associate with others, just be professional. ABS CBN has a lot to offer, you won’t be empty-handed,” Geisler said.
He also expressed his gratitude to Coco for giving him another chance to rise up from his failures.
“I am thankful for Coco that he gave me a chance through ‘Ang Probinsyano. This is my chance to earn money and to support my wife-to-be,” Geisler said.
Baron Geisler is set to wed his partner of eight months, a psychologist who works in rehabilitation centers, and teaches college students, Jamie Marie Evangelista, the actor has confirmed.
Geisler, similarly, thanked the production for supporting him and providing transportation for him. The actor said he had traded his private vehicle and used the money to start a barber shop business in Cebu.
“ABS-CBN is so good to me because they fetch and send me to tapings. I don’t commute anymore. I feel, I’m starting from humble beginnings, from scratch again, and feels like I’m back to basic,” Geisler said.
Geisler, who is a self-confessed alcoholic, said he is doing his best not to return to his old alcoholic ways.
“I don’t want to make a promise; I’m enjoying my job. I feel comfortable under my skin, I forgave myself, I don’t have problems with anyone. It’s too difficult when you make a promise, you can’t keep it. You just have to do it. So far, I receive no negativity. I have to make my meditations every day. My being alcoholic is already a sickness,” he said.
‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ airs weeknights after ‘TV Patrol.’
