‘Kara Mia’ is attracting more and more viewers as time passes by. From its pilot episode, the show has not yet overpassed its rival show ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ that is still on its lead, gracing as the country’s no.1 program.
In the episode of ‘Kara Mia’ last Monday, April 29, the series earned a 10.4% rating while it’s rival show ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ gathered 14.3%, making it 4.1 points higher.
On April 30, the TV audience share of the series stepped down to 11.0%. ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ also decreased its audience share settling at 13.4%. Still ‘Kara Mia’ is 3.4% lower than ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.’
By May 1, the audience share of ‘Kara Mia’ dropped again to 10.0% that is 1 point lower than the previous rating. In contrast, it’s rival show increased its viewership of .4 points, garnering 13.8%. The rival show is 3.8% higher than ‘Kara Mia.’
On May 2, the series increased its viewership again by .7 points and earned a rating of 10.7%; lower than it’s rival show that gathered 13.0% viewership. However, ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’s’ rating sloped down by .8 points.
As of May 3, ‘Kara Mia’ again, increased its audience share by .2 percent than the previous rating that summed up to 10.9% but still lower than ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ that increased its viewership by .1 points summing up to 13.1%.
In the latest episode of ‘Kara Mia,’ Aya Machado-Lacson, the character that Carmina Villaroel portrays as mother to Kara (Barbie Forteza) and Mia (Mika Dela Cruz), is in the hands of Iswal / Wally (Mike Tan), an ‘Engkanto’ who is very obsessed with her. Kara, together with his step-father, Arthur (John Estrada), went to Sio (Bembol Roco) to seek help in finding Aya.
Being rejected again, by Aya, Iswal almost despoiled Aya only being stopped by his mother to alert him with Kara and company’s arrival.

So far, the series got its highest rating on March 20, 2019 with a 12.5% rating. ‘Kara Mia’ is aired weeknights, after ’24 Oras.’
