‘Sahaya’ beats ‘The General’s Daughter’: Bianca Umali, Miguel Tanfelix thanks fans for the support

BiGuel –  Bianca Umali and Miguel Tanfelix feels the viewers’ overwhelming love and support for their hit primetime series, ‘Sahaya’.

The ‘Sahaya’ series tells the story of a young Badjao woman who inspires her family and community because of her positive outlook in life.  Bianca Umali plays the titular role “Sahaya” which translates to “light and hope” while onscreen partner Miguel Tanfelix plays the character of a simple Badjao named Ahmad who will fall in love with Sahaya.

Fans are eager to see both ‘Sahaya’ and Ahmad reunite in the groundbreaking TV show.

In a one-on-one interview with BiGuel fresh from their ‘Family History’ taping, both of them expressed their heartfelt thanks for the high ratings the show is receiving from the televiewers.

‘Family History’ is the third upcoming movie for the BiGuel loveteam. It is blend of comedy and family movie directed by Michael V.

Bianca said, “We are happy from the start and of course, one of our goals was to rate high, but it wasn’t out main goal.”

Following these TV ratings, where ABS-CBN’s ‘The General’s Daughter‘ reigned over ‘Sahaya’; Miguel expressed that their main goal is just to send a message to the people and they are faring successfully with that and happy to see people loving them.”

Miguel reveals that the TV ratings gained served as their inspiration to do more and achieve more for the whole cast and crew of Sahaya. They promised to give their full shot in every scene for the love of ‘Sahaya.’

“We are more eager to give the viewers a scene worth watching for our viewers. There are a lot to watch out for it’s so heartwarming to see all the hardwork finally paying off”, Bianca added.
