Dictator moves. Our democracy died the moment he stepped into power. He acts like a totalitarian monarch. He doesn’t respect the rule of law so that’s not how you get rid of him.

Senator Panfilo “Ping” Lacson, on the other hand, doesn’t believe that the President will make good on his threat.

“Takot-takutin niyo ako ng impeachment, put#ng in#, subukan niyo. Sabi ni Erap, sa kangkungan kayo pupulutin, dito sa akin subukan niyo,” Duterte said.
“Subukan mo. Kung lalaki kayo at matapang, may b*y*g, do it. ‘T#ng in#.”
Speaking to ABS-CBN News Channel on Thursday, June 27, Sotto suggested filing an impeachment case to settle who is right with regards to the constitutionality of the President’s pronouncements regarding the country’s Exclusive Economic Zone.
“I suggest that they file an impeachment and let’s see if they are right,” he said.
Sotto said it will be difficult to claim exclusivity with the underwater resources because fishes there could be coming from China and are going to China.
“It’s very difficult to say that there’s exclusivity when its under water. The fish could be coming from China, and the fish from the Philippines could be going to China if we want to be technical about it and relate it to the constitutionality of what should be owned by us,” Sotto explained.
