Wowowin host Willie Revillame is in the news again after his walkout moment on his show went viral.
During the “Willie of Fortune” segment of Wowowin, Willie requested “Hipon Girl” Herlene Budol to talk to one of the contestants who had similarities with her, believing that they would understand each other better.
Budol granted Wil’s request and tried to converse with the contestant she called “ka-squammy”. Their exchange of hilarious lines made the crowd burst out in laughter and prompted Herlene to imitate the way Willie hosts. Willie, on the other hand, was seated at the back smiling and watching Herlene host the show.
Just a few moments later, Willie stood up and walk off the stage leaving “Hipon Girl” dumbfounded and unsure what to do.
Scared and nervous, Herlene then apologized to Willie for her “insulting” behavior and admitted that the momentum just carried her away.
“Gusto niya maging host na siya, di ba? Sa’yo na ‘tong show na ‘to!” Willie stated.
“Niloloko lang kita… Wil joke lang, niloloko lang kita. Ikaw bagay na bagay sayo, perfect. Walang labis, walang kulang,” Herlene stated.
“Epal lang ako dito,” she added and admitted that the situation was making her nervous.
“Wil, balik ka na. Sorry,” Herlene said in which Willie replied with, “Hindi, okay lang. Kasi parang gusto mo ikaw na ‘yung ano [mag-host].”
“Nag-go with the flow lang ako. Sorry na, Wil!” Herlene replied and pleaded him to come back.
A few seconds had passed, Kuya Willie came back and announced that the three contestants will play in the Jackpot round.
