With their undeniable on-screen chemistry, the two stars brought a light atmosphere and “kilig” vibes to the show.

They even engaged themselves in the Photo Booth Challenge where they had to strike different poses for the different genre movie posters prepared by the Kapuso morning show.

Aside from the fun Photo Booth Challenge, Alden and Kathryn were interviewed by Kapuso hosts Suzi Abrera and Luane Dy.

They were asked about their first impressions of each other and how they managed to break the ice and get along for their big screen project.

On her first impression of Alden, Kathryn said, “Ako first impression ko sa kanya nung story con very mature, ‘yung matandang mature. Nag-uusap lang sila ni Inang (Olivia Lamasan) at direk Cathy (Garcia-Molina) nakikinig lang ako, ‘mature siya ano?’ … Mature siya pero fun, fun.”

As for Alden, he said, “Before, akala ko mahirap siyang kausapin.

“Feeling ko, kumbaga she just answers the question, parang gano’n?…Pero hindi eh. Talagang nakatulong that we’ve worked together in Hong Kong for almost a month…tuloy tuloy ‘yun. Everyday,” the Pambansang Bae added.

This was not the first time that the Box-Office Queen stepped foot inside GMA Network. In fact, she played as the young Jenny in the 2010 GMA series, Endless Love—a Philippine Adaptation of the hit Korean drama series, Autumn in my Heart starring Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes.

Their appearance on Unang Hirit earned different reactions from the netizens and even top trended on Twitter. Many were happy to see the two stars grace the show and turned to various social media platforms to express the “kilig” factor that they felt from Kathryn and Alden.
