Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo proudly believe that their upcoming film Hello, Love, Goodbye is proof that collaborating on a project is possible, despite coming from different networks.
During the grand press conference of Hello, Love, Goodbye, the two lead stars couldn’t hide their happiness over how the two rival networks (Kapamilya and Kapuso) collaborated for the movie.
“Masaya kami ni Alden dahil parang nakikita namin dito sa movie na parang nawala ‘yong [divide] ng Kapuso at Kapamilya,” Kathryn told the press.
Alden also said that he is thankful to GMA Network for letting him do the project despite the long process.
The Pambansang Bae also shared one conversation he had with director Cathy Garcia Molina as they did an interview during the movie’s story conference.
According to the actor, “We were being interviewed by the TV crew. Nung nakita ni direk na magkatabi ‘yong mic ng GMA [at ABS-CBN] sabi niya, ‘ay pwede pala’.”
“Sabi niya sana ito yung start ng collaboration ng different networks, ng different artists, actors — na sa isang project magsama and to be able to tell a good story,” he added.
Meanwhile, Kathryn was asked if she is willing to work with GMA Network stars to which she positively replied, “Ako, okay po sa ‘kin kung payagan po nila. I would love to cross over.”
Did you know that the “Phenomenal Box-Office Queen” had worked at GMA Network before?
Before she was known for her portraying Mara in Mara Clara, Kathryn played as young Jenny in the 2010 television series, Endless Love, marking her first appearance on GMA Network. She was paired with Kristoffer Martin who played young Johnny.
After her short stint, she went back to ABS-CBN where her career kicked off, leading to where she is now. She was cast in different programs of ABS-CBN like Princess and I (2012), Got To Believe (2013), Pangako Sa’Yo (2015), and La Luna Sangre (2017).
She also starred on different box-office hits including She’s Dating The Gangster (2014), Crazy Beautiful You (2015), Barcelona: A Love Untold (2016), Can’t Help Falling In Love (2017), The Hows Of Us (2018), and Three Words To Forever (2018).
She was dubbed as Teen Queen, Queen of Hearts, and now Box-Office Queen for her successful hit movies like her most recent The Hows of Us with her on-screen and off-screen partner Daniel Padilla.
Kathryn stars in a romantic movie titled Hello, Love, Goodbye with Alden Richards.
