During her guest appearance on the Kapuso morning program Unang Hirit with her Hello, Love, Goodbye leading man Alden Richards, Kathryn Bernardo was shown a short throwback video clip of the time she played a part in a Kapuso series.
In 2010, Kathryn played as young Jenny (Marian Rivera) in Endless Love—a GMA adaptation of the hit Korean drama series Autumn in my Heart, opposite Kristoffer Martin.
Her exposure wasn’t that long but her character was loved and admired by many.
She was again offered by GMA Network to star in the 2010 youth-oriented program Reel Love Presents Tween Hearts but the actress turned it down, She instead took on one of the lead roles in the remake of Mara Clara on ABS-CBN.
From then, she was given several TV series and film projects, mostly opposite her reel and real-life partner, Daniel Padilla.
She starred in different hit TV series like Princess And I (as Mikay in 2012), Got To Believe (as Chichay in 2013), Pangako Sa’Yo (as Yna Macaspac / Maria Amor de Jesus in 2015), and La Luna Sangre (as Malia in 2017).
She also starred in various box-office hits including She’s Dating the Gangster (2014), Crazy Beautiful You (2015), Barcelona: A Love Untold (2016), Can’t Help Falling In Love (2017), The Hows Of Us (2018), and Three Words To Forever (2018).
