- Nadine Lustre and Aga Muhlach will team up for a project for the first time
- It is still not clear whether is it a film or a series they’ll work on together
- Nadine and Aga are both award-winning actors
It seems like this year is a year for fresh tandems.
Two award-winning actors, Nadine Lustre and Aga Muhlach, will team up for a project for the very first time.
In an Instagram post of Viva Artist agency, the two actors posed for a picture with Vicente “Vic” del Rosario, Jr. (Chairman of the Board and CEO of Viva Entertainment). No other details were given out.
This is not the first time that Aga, 49, will be paired with a younger actress. In his last romantic film First Love (2018), he was paired with the beautiful actress Bea Alonzo. Aside from Bea, his previous younger leading ladies include Anne Curtis (When Love Begins, 2008), Angel Locsin (In The Name of Love, 2011), and Kristine Hermosa (All My Life, 2004).
Bringing two of the best actors from different generations, Aga and Nadine will surely give us fresh feels and a new outlook.
Apparently, the two will be doing the Pinoy adaptation of Korean hit movie ‘Miracle In Cell No.7.’ The Korean version is a heartwarming tale that depicts the relationship between a 6-year old girl & her mentally challenged father who’s accused & convicted for a crime he didn’t commit. Awaiting the trial, he is assigned Cell no. 7 which consists of the most hardened criminals & unknowingly convinces everyone that he’s a good-hearted fellow who couldn’t have committed the crime he’s accused of. And so, the inmates get together to help him see his daughter again by breaking her in & also start preparing him for his trial.
The actor was a judge in the 2016 reality singing competition Pinoy Boyband Superstar alongside Yeng Constantino, Vice Ganda, and Sandara Park marking his comeback to ABS-CBN.
For his outstanding performance in the showbiz industry, Aga has won several awards including Best Actor for multiple films, Best Supporting Actor, and Movie Actor of the Year.
Nadine, on the other hand, is a homegrown talent of Viva.
At the age of 25, she already proved that she is more than a pretty face. Just this 2019, she was awarded as Best Actress for her exceptional performance in the 2018 movie, Never Not Love You, from the 67th FAMAS Awards and the Gawad Urian.
Her last movie project was Ulan (2019) opposite Carlo Aquino.
