For the first time, Vice Ganda shared a selfie with his rumored boyfriend Ion Perez on Instagram Stories last Saturday, July 6.

As seen in the photo, the comedy superstar took the selfie with Perez apparently in the same dressing room.

Fans think that this rare instance might be a hint of their rumored romance.

While speculations surrounding their relationship have been swirling around for months starting last February. The two have yet to confirm being officially a couple.

They are, however, the constant target of teasing on It’s Showtime, where Vice Ganda and Perez’s playful interactions started in September 2018 during the show’s Miss Q and A and Kaparewho segments.

Last Saturday, It’s Showtime co-host Anne Curtis hinted about their off-screen romance when the actress teased Vice Ganda about being in a “happier place” after a heartbreak, before singing Perez’s signature dance tune “Lintik.”

Prior to his It’s Showtime stint, Perez had already met Vice Ganda in October 2017 during a Gandang Gabi Vice taping. In that episode, Carlo Mendoza—or more popularly known as “gigil kid”—was Vice’s co-host. Carlo called out Ion who was later introduced to Vice.

In the March 17 episode of Gandang Gabi Vice, Vice finally confirmed he was in a romantic relationship without revealing the identity of his new love. This heightened speculations about their relationship.

During the launch of his newest book, Jose Marie Viceral: Tutoy, on June 6, Vice finally addressed the rumors when asked about their real score in an interview. He said that he and Perez are both happy with their current status.

Fans of their romance continue to rise in numbers. They also showed support for the pair’s gesture on Instagram.
