After 14 years, Goin’ Bulilit, one of the longest-running kiddie gag shows of ABS-CBN, aired its final episode last Sunday, August 4.
Many television viewers saddened by the show’s cancellation. Some didn’t want the award-winning program to end for it was their habit to watch Goin’ Bulilit every Sunday.
Frasco Mortiz, the director of Goin’ Bulilit, thanked the Kapamilya viewers who supported the show from the start until the end. He also highlighted the milestones of his directorial project as it reached its finale.
In his Twitter post, the director wrote, “14 years. 745 episodes. 17 awards. 0 Thanksgiving dinner.”
“We may not be important to some, but we are important to those who matter. That’s YOU, Kapamilya. Thank you! #GoodBabyeBulilit,” he added.

His Twitter post garnered mixed reactions from netizens. Some congratulated the director for the success of his show.
However, some netizens think that the director has some resentment towards ABS-CBN.
The line “0 Thanksgiving dinner” made the netizens feel bad for the director and the show. According to them, Goin’ Bulilit deserves a thanksgiving dinner since it brought fame and money to the network for 14 years.
Additionally, it became the stepping stone of some of the stars of today like Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Montes, Miles Ocampo, Kiray Celis, Nash Aguas, Sharlene San Pedro, Jane Oineza, John Manalo, Kristel Fulgar, Alexa Ilacad, and Mika Dela Cruz, among others.
Here are some of netizens’ aired sentiments on Twitter:

These kids worked so hard they deserve to be recognized… but then again selective ang abs cbn, they’re focused on their favorite… I feel sorry for those kids. BUT THANK YOU FOR THE GOOD LAUGHS WE HAD! THEY WERE AMAZING 🥰
