On Wednesday, August 21, It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis uploaded on Instagram the poster of her movie Just A Stranger.

However, the sultry and daring photo elicited negative and hateful comments against Anne Curtis from some netizens who said she should not be doing such because she’s already married.
Anne’s husband Erwan Heussaff came to his wife’s defense and replied to the bashers.
“Last I checked, I’m the husband and I know how I feel (which is completely fine by the way, thanks for asking),” he wrote, reiterating that there is no need for anyone to call out Anne on the photo, saying that it was “disrespect” and people should not “dictate what a person should or shouldn’t do after getting married.
“I’ve known my wife as an actress since day 1 and I have the utmost admiration for what she does. End of story.”
Erwan truly believes that for a marriage to be successful, the couple needs to help each other grow.
“So let’s stop talking about marriage like it needs to change people. Most successful marriages I know are those where both parties kept their identity intact and grew as a couple.”
Anne replied to Erwan’s comment with a love note,
Erwan and Anne are one of the most admired married couples, with their sense of humor and constant support of each other. Recently, Erwan pretended to be jealous when Anne posted a photo of herself and her Just A Stranger leading man Marco Gumabao.
“I leave for one day and this happens already???” Erwan commented.
Anne jokingly replied, “that’s what you get for always leaving me.”
Marco joined the fun and replied that he’s willing to be adopted. “i have a lot of skills po. I know how to roll over and play dead. Plus I won’t eat my treats until you say go.”

Anne has previously stated how mature and supportive Erwan is and that it was never an issue to him about her doing sexy films.
“It’s never been an issue about how sexy it is cause he loves quality films. He’s a film gore talaga, so wala, hindi sya ganun na bawal ka na mag-love scene or anything,”
Erwan even read the script for the movie and supported her decision to do the film.
“He read it. He said it’s such script material you should do it. He saw the teaser and everything and he found it very nice.”
