ABS-CBN’s newest primetime drama The Killer Bride is off to a good start as its pilot telecast instantly captivated viewers nationwide, garnering a national TV rating of 23.1% versus its rival program’s 10.1%, according to data from Kantar Media.
The show, led by versatile actress Maja Salvador, also created buzz online as its official hashtag #TheKillerBrideFirstDance landed in the top trending topics on Twitter last Monday (August 12).

Set in the fictional Las Espadas, the pilot episode of The Killer Bride introduced the feuding Dela Cuesta and Dela Torre clans. Geoff Eigenmann and Maja Salvador portray Vito and Camila, whose forbidden love results in tragic events. Secretly in a relationship with Vito dela Cuesta (Geoff Eigenmann), a pregnant Camila is torn between her loyalty to her grandfather, Jacobo (Eddie Gutierrez), and her own future family.
