Volleyball siblings and superstars Jaja and Dindin Santiago take a break from the pro circuit and will take a trip down to F. Jhocson to visit their alma mater, the National University (NU), for this Saturday’s (September 28) edition of “University Town” (“U-Town”) at 1 pm on ABS-CBN S+A.
Since graduation, the sisters have continued to wow in the volleyball court, earning them invitations to play as imports in the prestigious Japan V.League.
Dindin played for the Kurobe AquaFairies while Jaja is back for a second tour of duty with Ageo Medics.
The towering middle blockers once patrolled the nets for the Lady Bulldogs, and are now back in campus in the “Represent” segment to reminisce about their days as student-athletes.
Meanwhile, another batch of NU volleyball stars tours us around the stomping grounds of the NU Bulldogs as Lady Bulldogs libero Jen Nierva, setter Joyme Cagande, and Bulldogs’ libero Ricky Marcos take us to the best spots to hang out inside the school in “Campus Hacks.”
With the campus tour and reminiscing out of the way, volleyball phenom Alyssa Valdez takes a peek at the preparations of the UAAP Cheerdance Competition champions, the NU Pep Squad, and trained with them alongside an aspiring high school cheerleader, as they gear up for another title run in the annual event that will be held in November.
Lastly, it’s all about caring for each other’s well-being and saving lives in this week’s edition of “University Lodi” segment featuring the NU Peers Facilitators organization.
These students are commended for being there for their fellow Nationalians who are undergoing rough stretches in their lives and providing them with a semblance of support.
