Winning entries will be announced in November, with the possibility of collaborating with partner companies to have the proposals implemented.
The awards program is selecting winners from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, and special award categories alongside the over-all Grand Prize to encourage participation of more schools outside the metro.
Cash prizes up to Php1M are to be awarded to the winning student groups, faculty advisors, and schools.
Participating groups are required to submit an evaluative, analytical, investigative action research that suggests better practices for business to operate.
The Legacy Awards is open to teams of 3-5 college students, currently enrolled in a BA/BS program in any Philippine tertiary education institution.
